EndeavourOS
EndeavourOS is a rolling-release Linux distribution based on Arch Linux that provides an accessible entry point to Arch while maintaining its minimalist philosophy and cutting-edge software.
EndeavourOS is a community-driven, rolling-release Linux distribution built on top of Arch Linux. It strips away Arch's steep learning curve by offering a graphical installer and pre-configured desktop environments, while preserving Arch's core principles of simplicity and user control.
Unlike fixed-release distros that bundle software versions at release time, EndeavourOS continuously receives the latest packages—meaning you get up-to-date applications, kernel improvements, and security patches without waiting for major version upgrades. This rolling model keeps your system perpetually current.
EndeavourOS ships with several desktop environment options (KDE Plasma, GNOME, XFCE, etc.) and provides a friendly community forum for support. An example workflow: after installation, you can immediately pacman -Syu to update everything, then pacman -S firefox to install the latest Firefox, rather than being locked to versions from a snapshot date.
